Indications
Dotin Tablet is used for:
Gout, Hyperuricemia
Adult Dose
Oral
Tablet
Initially 0.5 mg tab once a day.
The dosage may gradually increase according to blood uric acid level as needed.
It may be increased to 1 mg at a time, once a day after 2 weeks, and then 2 mg at a time, once daily as a maintenance dose after 6 weeks.
The dosage may be adjusted according to the patient's condition.
However, it should not exceed 4 mg at a time, once a day.
Hepatic impairment
Dotinurad can be administered to patients with hepatic impairment without dose adjustment.

Renal Dose
No dose adjustment is necessary when dotinurad is administered to patients with mild to moderate renal impairment.

Adverse Effects
Side effects of Dotinurad :
The most commonly reported adverse reactions include gouty arthritis, arthritis and discomfort in limbs.
Increased creatinine and Nephrolithiasis were reported.
Mechanism of Action
Dotinurad, a selective urate reabsorption inhibitor (SURI), potently inhibits urate transporter 1 (URAT1) but minimally inhibits ATP-binding cassette subfamily G member 2 (ABCG2), organic anion transporter 1 (OAT1), and OAT3.
