Indications
Supotaria Oral Solution is used for:
Reduce chronic severe drooling, in children & adolescents aged 3 years and older.
Adult Dose
Oral
Adult >48 years :
15 ml 3 times daily at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals
Child Dose
Oral
Children (3-18 years) : 5-10 ml 3 times daily at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals
Renal Dose
Administration
Administer 1 hr ac or 2 hr pc
High fat food reduces PO bioavailability
Contra Indications
Hypersensitivity to glycopyrrolate or other ingredients
Precautions
Pregnancy, lactation. CV disease, hyperthyroidism, hepatic or renal impairment. Enlarged prostate, diarrhoea, fever. May cause ileus or megacolon in patients with ulcerative colitis. Children and elderly.

Mechanism of Action
Glycopyrrolate is a competitive inhibitor of acetylcholine receptors that are located on certain peripheral tissues, including salivary glands. Glycopyrrolate indirectly reduces the
rate of salivation by preventing the stimulation of these receptors.
