Side effects of Glycine 1.5% Irrigation solution :
Nausea, salivation, electrolyte loss, diuresis, edaema, thirst, dehydration, cardiovascular and pulmonary disorders.
Mechanism of Action
Sterile solutions of glycine 1.5% in water are used for urogenital irrigation during certain surgical procedures, especially transurethral resection of the prostate.
