Contra Indications
Not to be used in the eye, ear, mucous membrane or body cavities.
Precautions
Prolonged and repeated use may increase risk of hypersensitivity reactions. Blood, soap, cotton or other organic matter may decrease antibacterial efficacy.

Mechanism of Action
Cetrimide is a quaternary ammonium antiseptic; it has bactericidal activity against both gram-positive and gram-negative organisms.
Chlorhexidine is an antimicrobial agent; it is active against a wide range of gram-negative and gram-positive vegetative bacteria, yeasts, dermatophyte fungi and lipophilic viruses.
